Butters the Wobbly Kitten Shows His Joy with Adorable Kicks

Meet Butters, he’s a lovely orange kitten with a heartwarming personality!

Despite being born with severe cerebellar hypoplasia, Butters never fails to express his happiness to his loving human, Alison.

This neurological condition affects his balance, but Butters has found a charming way to communicate by using his legs to kick in a unique way while lying on the floor.

It’s truly heart-melting to see how Butters overcomes his challenges and shows his affection in such a delightful manner.

“Butters expresses pretty much everything through his little kicks,” explains Alison. “It means that I can tell that he’s excited and he’s happy.”

This delightful kitty has a couple of different kinds of kicks and Alison has got to know what they mean.

“He has his breakfast kickies and his supper kickies he looks like he’s riding a bicycle. He also has picked me up kicks they’re a little bit slower. His kicks are so cute.”

After the pair had spent an entire year together, Alison realized that she didn’t want to give him up, so Butters was adopted and she officially welcomed him into the family.

Because of his condition Butters doesn’t have any coordination or sense of balance, and this makes it difficult for him to walk.

But as will see in the video below he’s been kitted out with a wheelchair of sorts and this helps him move around the house.

Alison says that at first he could only manage a few steps at a time, but now he can easily cross the room at quite a pace.

Quite often after breakfast Alison has to give Butters a bath, he can get in such a state!

Then they enjoy their snuggle time together and you just know that he appreciates everything Alison does for him.

They also enjoy exploring together. Butters love being outside on a sunny day:

“He really loves to look around at everything going on,” says Alison.

Although Butters may not be able to move around like other cats, he is truly unique and has an unbreakable bond with Alison.
