Giant Cat Abandoned For his Size Finds His Forever Home Within Hours Of Arriving At the Shelter

A 9-year old cat surprised everyone in the shelter with his very tall figure and 21-pound weight. His name is Edgar.

Edgar, a wag, was left at the Humane Society of Carroll County in Maryland after his family didn’t want to keep them because the child of his owner and Edgar couldn’t get along with each other.

The executive director of the shelter said that “We were all a bit taken back by his size.” He weighed in at 21 pounds. They think that maybe no one will adopts him, so they come up with a plan.

As soon as he came to the shelter, they created an adaptation plan for Edgar and launched it on social media. After the campaign was posted, a lot of people showed an interest in adopting Edgar.

After three hours, Edgar found his new permanent home. Jenna Marie said that she saw his picture all over Facebook and instantly fell in love with Edgar. That’s why she suggested to his boyfriend that they adopt him. After that, they went to the Humane Society to see if they got the chance to take this big guy home.

Luckily, when they arrived at the shelter, they received a friendly and warm welcome from Edgar. “He has the coolest personality.” “He’s affectionate and very laid back,” Jenna said. The couple decided to take him home and thought that he was a perfect match for their other pet. When Edgar gets home with the couple, he eventually gets along with their other cats and dogs. It’s like he was there a long time ago because he didn’t have time to adapt to his new home and surroundings.

Life is full of exciting experiences. Maybe we can’t get along with others because they are not our soulmates, and when our soulmates find us, they are the ones who will come to us.
